Resideo VC8715AM1000 3/4"- Sweat VC Valve W/Auxiliary Switch 24 VAC

The Resideo VC8715AM1000 is a 3/4-inch sweat valve that controls the amount of water that passes through an HVAC system. It operates on a 24V AC power source and has an extra switch for additional operations. It is usually applied to the hydronic heating systems to regulate the water supply required in zones or certain apparatus. A thermostat or any other control device transmits a low voltage signal that determines the valve’s performance. When activated the valve is opened and the water can pass through it. When de-energized the valve shuts and restricts the flow of water through it.
